On the parable of the prodigal son

“Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son."
(Sermon begins at about 18:00.)
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
  • Which character do you most identify with: the father, the prodigal son, the fatted calf, or the faithful son?
  • What phrases or statements stand out for you?
  • What do you think the Holy Spirit might be saying to you in this moment? If you’re not sure, pause. Sit for a few minutes in listening stillness and trust that God will instruct you.
  • How do you want to respond to the Holy Spirit’s instruction?
  • What emotions are you experiencing in this moment? How might they inform you?
  • What would you like to say to Our Lord Jesus Christ right now?

If you enjoyed this video, we invite you to like, follow, and share it with others. We also invite you to visit St. Andrew's next Sunday. You would be most welcome.
